Problem Note 41545: Changing the Default File Location to save Microsoft Excel files not being recognized by SAS® Financial Management
The SAS Information Delivery Portal saves a temporary Excel file when a SAS Financial Management report is opened from the Document Manager. The file save location is supposed to be controlled by the 'Default File Location' setting in Excel Options. However, changes to this 'Default File Location' are not being recognized so the temporary files are always saved to the individual user's My Documents directory.
This is marked as fixed in SAS Financial Management release 5.3 and will also be fixed in the first maintenance release (M1) for SAS Financial Management release 5.2.
